Every power bank you've ever owned is the same black brick. It lives at the bottom of your bag, it's always at 11%, and nobody has ever said "ooh, what's that?" about it. Not once.
Meet the SHARGEEK 140 from Sharge: a power bank with a transparent shell, so you can actually see the internals you've been trusting with your phone. It looks like a gadget from a sci-fi movie prop department, except it charges your stuff instead of exploding in act three.
It's not just a pretty case. It packs 20,000mAh (72Wh) and up to 140W total output: a 100W USB-C port plus a 40W USB-A port, so it can charge two devices at once. Sharge says it can take a MacBook Pro from 0 to 50% in about 40 minutes, charge an iPhone 15 four times, or an iPad twice.
There's a built-in smart display that shows power status and charging performance, so you don't have to guess what "three blinking dots" means. It's also listed with an airline-safe capacity, and it works with PD3.0 up to 100W plus a pile of other fast-charging standards, so your laptop, phone, Steam Deck and that one friend's weird Android can all share.
In the box: the power bank, a 100W USB-C cable, a travel pouch and a user guide. The pouch is for travel. The transparent shell is for flexing at the coffee shop.
Bonus: it's a solid pick for the storm-season drawer. When the lights go out, a charged 20,000mAh bank keeps phones alive until they come back on.
Who it's for: laptop nomads, Steam Deck travelers, gadget nerds who'd frame a circuit board, and anyone who wants to stay charged through a power outage.
Skip it if you need a wall-sized home battery to run the fridge, or if your current plan of "ask the barista for an outlet" is working out great.
The verdict: hand-picked because it's the first power bank people will ask about. Your phone stays charged, and you finally get a battery with personality.
